What is a pension?

A Korean pension is not a hotel. Rooms are self-contained with a kitchenette, there is no front desk staffed around the clock, and you contact the owner directly by phone. You cook, use the barbecue and tidy up yourself, which is part of the experience.

Getting here from Seoul

From Incheon Airport, take the airport railroad or a bus to Seoul, then a KTX train to Dunnae Station (about 1 hour from Seoul), and a taxi for the final 10 minutes. Intercity buses to Dunnae Terminal also run from Seoul. Renting a car is the easiest option if you plan to visit the surrounding area.

Good to know

Shoes come off at the door — indoor floors are heated and kept clean. Rubbish is separated into food waste, recyclables and general waste before you leave. Tap water is safe but most guests drink bottled water. Payment is usually by bank transfer, so please ask us in advance if you need another method.
